Project Overview

Westminster City Council is undertaking works as part of its vision to facilitate the walking corridor between Leicester Square and Covent Garden, making the streets safer and more inviting for pedestrians. The works will include Design and implementation of pedestrianisation scheme at King Street which includes the relocation of parking bays in King Street to other roads within Covent Garden Area.

In order for the scheme to progress to the next stage, site investigations with removable bollard sockets installation will be undertaken under temporary road closure.
