Project Overview

Following analysis of the 3 year accident statistics for 2012-2014 for the Westminster Borough, concentrating on vulnerable road users, the junction of Warwick Avenue, Clifton Gardens and Clifton Villas was selected for a Local Safety Feasibility Study. This study reviewed a number of possible design options that could improve safety at this junction.

It was concluded that the most appropriate safety measures at this junction were to relocate the existing zebra crossing on Clifton Villas and narrow the southern approach to the junction.
