Project Overview

As part of the Local Safety Scheme programme 2020/21 the junction of Harrow Road and Third Avenue was identified as a location where the number of collisions, namely those involving vulnerable road users are too high. The remedial measures to be implemented here include widening the footway and bringing forward the give way line, removing/relocating some of the existing street furniture and upgrading the existing line marking restrictions.
