Project Overview

The improvements works for the 17 George Street area goals are making the this areare safer, more accessible, and more attractive. The project involves:

• Constructing buildouts at the George St/ Manchester St junction
• Enhancing the southern footway of George Street
• Upgrading lighting and street furniture
• Improving pedestrian crossings and accessibility
• Using better materials for the footway
• Adding more cycle racks
