Project Overview

Westminster City Council has commissioned its service provider, FM Conway to enhance the public realm surrounding the Wellington Hotel in Covent Garden. This includes improvements to the adjacent Tavistock Street, Burleigh Street and Exeter Street.

The proposed scheme aims to improve the pedestrian experience of the community and create a more accessible environment for all. This will be achieved through by upgraded footway materials throughout the footways of Tavistock Street (between Burleigh Street and Wellington Street), Burleigh Street (between Tavistock Street and Exeter Street) and Exeter Street (between Burleigh Street and Wellington Street). Additionally, the carriageway in the immediate areas of Wellington Hotel will be resurfaced to complement the footway enhancements.
