Project Overview

Westminster City Council has commissioned its service provider, FM Conway Ltd., to undertake highway improvement works at Queen's Park Court. These works will include improvements to both the footway and carriageway.

The highway improvement works are planned to be undertaken during the day between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 on the above dates. To complete these works safely, some phases will require road closures. When in place, appropriate diversion routes will be signed on street.

It is possible that the works dates might slip for operational reasons (weather delays etc) between now and the planned start dates, but the methodology of carrying out the work is not expected to change. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

If your property has a vault/basement that extends beneath the footway and possibly the carriageway, the works being undertaken may cause water ingress or dampness to appear when the ground is disturbed if the vault/basement has not been properly protected by tanking or other damp proofing. Neither the Council nor the contractor will be responsible for any such damage resulting from these works. It will be the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that the vault/basement is suitably protected against such damage. If you are the occupier but not the owner of the property, you should make the owner aware of this notice.

We do apologise in advance for any inconvenience that these works may cause residents. We shall endeavour to keep noise disruptions to a minimum.

Please note that whilst we will endeavour to minimise the impact of noise on local and nearby businesses, this is not always possible, due to the nature of the works. Our operatives will follow strict health and safety guidance, wearing full PPE whilst works are underway.
