Project Overview

The scheme forms part of the wider Cycleway 51 (C51) works, which aim to improve cycling infrastructure and connectivity along the route. The works include:

• Upgraded paving and carriageway resurfacing.
• Installation of cycle segregation kerbs and associated highway improvements.
• Once completed, the road will retain two southbound traffic lanes, alongside two cycle lanes: one partly segregated southbound cycle lane and one segregated contraflow northbound cycle lane.
• The works will improve the continuity of the cycle route and tie into the wider C51 improvements.
• Pedestrian access to all properties will be maintained throughout the works.

Outline Programme

Works will start on Monday 2nd November and are expected to be complete by Friday 20th November with resurfacing scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th December.
