Ward: West End Streets Affected: Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus Project Type: Major Projects

Phase 2a work on Waterloo Place, both sides of Pall Mall, ran from August to December 2013.

The work undertaken in this area has included:

• Resurfacing the road
• Repaving the footway in high quality materials (York stone);
• Widening the central 'islands' to return the area to an attractive historical square that is a destination in its own right;
• Replacing the street lighting with modern units;
• Clearing existing drainage runs; and
• Reorganising parking.
